How do dynamic tariffs work?

All hoteliers are asked one question: how to make the hotel full of visitors? Of course, this can be affected by the low or high season. But even the last period does not guarantee the maximum load. After all, many other factors affect the choice of customers of your hotel. And the use of a dynamic tariff in the PMS system will help in this matter!

Let's understand what it allows and how to apply it?

Dynamic tariffs help to manage prices flexibly, regardless of, for example, the season, day of the week or other factors that may have previously affected pricing. The main criterion for the operation of the dynamic tariff is the load of the number of rooms.

How does a dynamic tariff work? Let's consider the following cases:

????Example №1. Suppose that on New Year's Eve, the hotel, which is located in the Carpathians, is already 90% full. The owner of the hotel decides to raise prices for the remaining unfilled rooms to increase profits. It is the use of a pre-set dynamic tariff that will help to make such a change in prices automatically.

????Example №2. In order to fill the hotel in Odessa in March, when there are still a few months until the holiday season, the owner decides to reduce the cost of rooms. This temporary change in price will increase occupancy and obtain the necessary subscriptions to prepare the hotel for the season. When the required load level is reached, the tariff will return to the previous value.

It is clear that the level of the tariff can be set in advance in SERVIO HMS and when it is automatically triggered, the price lists in the booking module on your site and on the connected sales channels (booking, etc.) will be instantly updated.

Dynamic tariff functionality is already available in the new version of Servio HMS. To connect it, contact technical support at:
