SERVIO software provides several options for timekeeping tools
► Using POS terminals and the installed SERVIO POS WorkTime module. The SERVIO POS WorkTime module is an add-on to the POS line. It is installed on the terminals of the service personnel or on the PCs / laptops of the security service. It is most often used to record the parishes and waste of an employee by reading a contactless or contact magnetic card, depending on the type of reader installed.
This method of recording working hours is used when registering at a POS terminal or if there is a pass with a security service PC installed on it.
► Through special timekeeping terminals, most often installed in employee access areas. Terminals can be equipped with built-in biometric readers (fingerprints, facial scanning (Face ID), retinas, and others), RFID readers for scanning RFID identifiers (cards, key fobs, bracelets), or combined, allowing an employee to be identified in several of the previously mentioned ways.
This method of timekeeping is the most reliable because it is almost impossible to cheat. It completely eliminates the possibility of fraud by employees, associated with the transfer of personal cards to each other for scanning (for example, to increase working hours or cover up absences from work). Secondly, the installation of such readers saves the company from the costs incurred as a result of issuing new or reprogramming old cards.
This method of time tracking is ideal for large corporations with a large number of staff, networks, and can also be installed in company offices.
A combined timekeeping system (employees can be identified simultaneously by cards and fingerprints) is most often used in production and at enterprises where reading the same fingerprints may be problematic due to the specifics of the work or wearing protective clothing.
► When passing through turnstiles with special readers. This system is both an access control system and a time and attendance system. Arrival and departure times are recorded by swiping a personal card (if using RFID readers) or scanning a fingerprint (biometric readers).
Data from the reader is automatically sent to software installed on a PC or laptop, where you can not only view the data, but also perform a number of other actions:
- Generate reports on the amount of time worked;
- Configure the schedule of passage permits;
- Upload data to other timesheet programs, for example, "1C: Enterprise".
